Ben is a beast

I don't know if it's because he is 4 years old and doesn't understand the concept completely yet, or if he's a budding criminal, but why the heck does he think it's okay to SIT on the poor puppy? I forever keep reminding him to be gentle, and for the most part he is, but he seems to think Kimmy is far sturdier than she really is.

Of course, to him she must seem really big already, but she's still only a puppy. He knows he's not allowed to play "horseback riding" with her, but apparently, he decided to push his luck last night.

Kimmy was lying curled up on the floor beside my feet and just as I looked up, I saw Ben sitting down on her! She must have been startled from her sleep and shocked, because she growled at Ben - for the first time ever!

I read him the riot act and sent him for a time out, of course, but WTF? I must say, dogs are faster learners than children!
