Kimmy was a good girl today
I mean, yes, she still jumps up at me when we walk and she still tries to play "grab the trousers", but with less frequency (and less ferocity!), so I consider this an improvement.
At home she doesn't jump up as much anymore, and today she was actually able to lie beside Ben watching him eat ice cream without trying to steal it from him!!! This is a definite progress, because usually she will do her best to get a hold of any food Ben is eating.
Kimmy knows that she is not supposed to jump, whine, or bark when I prepare her food. So now she just watches me intently, hypnotizing the bowl, and waits patiently (either in a sit or a down) until I let her know she can eat. Good girl!
She quite reliably gives "paw" now, too (sometimes both, ha ha).
She knows what it means "go to bed", and 9 times out of 10, she will actually obey this comman (not without looking at me with the SADDEST puppy eyes first, of course).
She sleeps through the night and doesn't even snore much, so I am very glad :) Now if I could make Benny stop snoring too and we'd be all set ;)
