About Luxembourg
With its 2586 sq. kilometers (999 sq. miles) the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is located in the heart of Western Europe.
The country is one of the six founding members of the European Economic Community (later the European Union) and in 1999 it joined the euro currency area.
